COLLECTION / PREEN
I adore these shots of the stunning Preen collection just shown at NYFW. The prints, and such a modern and pretty take on pastels and ruffles, two things that aren't usually of huge appeal to me. Everything in this show was just spot on- the hair and makeup complement the girly but not too fussy clothes. LOVE!

COLLECTION / MIU MIU
Definitely nothing like my normal style but it has to be said... I adooooore the fall Miu Miu collection. The 40s inspired pieces are so glamourous and feminine. Despite being a bit of a daring choice for the campaign, the 14 year old Hailee Steinfeld absolutely shines in the campaign and surprisingly suits the collection perfectly, bringing through Miu Miu's innocent and playful take on the vintage style clothes. This was also picked up by Vogue Australia in the September issue, such a dreamy setting.

Being one of my absolute favourite brands and having so little access to it here in Australia, I couldn’t keep myself away from Maje while in France. Perfectly chic and simple, this collection was just making its way into stores as I was leaving and I fell in love with so many pieces I wanted to share some with you.

COLLECTION / VIRGINIE LYNN
One of my favourite parts of RAFW was discovering new designers and talent, and the best place to see this was at the New Generation shows on Friday (I posted about the first one here). Unfortunately I never made it to the second one but I couldn't resist sharing with you these pics from one of the collections shown, Virginie Lynn. The label completely embodies what I try to achieve when getting dressed each day, easy and cool while elegant and a bit edgy. Not always the easiest to do, but these girls have it spot on. This is what I want to be wearing when summer comes round again, luxurious silk and leather classics that can be worn over and over again. You can find out more on the Virginie Lynn site here, which also has an online store (I'm currently trying not to buy everything there, so hard!!). This is the Australian brand to watch!

COLLECTION / FRIEND OF MINE
The cheeky Friend of Mine collection definitely stood out from all the rest during RAFW. I loved way too much to type it all out and my brain's a little fried at the moment, so here's what I jotted down during the show...
Alexandra Spencer styling and directing- killed it. Short short shorts. Bondage accessories. Rips, leather and mesh. The coolest hair of the week. Crazy music and energy. Talon claws on chunky boots (NEED!)
